Remember that House Pin you received when you became a member of CCPC? The pin symbolizes your commitment to professionalism in the field of Early Care and Education. The holes along the bottom are to display Heart Dangles that proclaim your accomplishments in the profession. Many of you have already received dangles and others are currently working to achieve them. This is a reminder that dangles will be awarded at the Saturday night banquet. Wear you pin with pride!

Dangles are awarded for the following:

PROFESSIONALISM:
Red: 150 or more hours of ECE training within 3 years

Green: Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)

Blue: NAFCC Accreditation

Yellow: Second Helping Graduate

Purple:Provider of The Year

EDUCATION:
Bronze: Associate Degree in ECE or related field

Silver: Bachelors Degree in ECE or related field

Gold: Masters Degree in ECE or related field

SERVICE:
Pink: 5 to 14 years providing childcare

Lt. Blue: 14 to 24 years providing childcare

Lt. Green: 25 plus years providing childcare
