CCPC is proud of our affiliates.

The work they do with the providers in their communities is phenomenal.
While CCPC tries hard to be there for all of our members there is nothing better than local support.
We salute each of these fine professional groups and thank them for their continued support of The Child Care Providers Coalition of Kansas.
If you have any questions about how to Affiliate your group with CCPC or how to get a group started, contact Sandy Blancarte either by e-mail at hotgma45@yahoo.com or by phone at (913) 837-5865.

PARTNERSHIP IN LEARNING AND ADVOCACY OF YOUNG CHILDREN - P.L.A.Y (in Emporia)

The P.L.A.Y. organization started the 2009 - 2010 year with a Social get together in August. We discussed possible training and community projects to complete this year and our project was a make-and-take sensory ocean bottle. September's meeting got us up and moving with a Kindermusik presentation from Sara Coltrane followed by a two hour training on "Facets of a Family Centered Early Childhood Program" presented by Cathy Gray from KACCRRA. October's meeting will consist of a presentation on fire safety from our local fire marshal, Tom Andrews. All P.L.A.Y. members have the opportunity to contact the fire department and schedule a fire truck visit, complete with a presentation from a firefighter and hand outs provided. Pending arrangements are being made for October's CPR training; our hope is to extend this training session to our childcare parents as well.
