CHILD CARE PROVIDERS COALITION of KS, Inc. PHILOSOPHY

CCPC is a not-for-profit organization founded for and by Family Child Care providers in Kansas as a support group for strength and unity in representing our viewpoint on child care issues.

CCPC recognizes the beauty of diversity in Family Child Care, and realizes that there are many right ways to do things. We do not dictate to providers how to run their business, but encourage what works best with each providers family, talents and resources.

CCPC acknowledges the struggle many providers have faced through the years with attitudes that caring for young children is easy work, and takes no experience or training. We encourage providers to continue to educate their clients about their professionalism in Family Child Care, a chosen career.

CCPC supports regulatory requirements, as they protect the health and safety of children.

CCPC encourages cooperation with other agencies interested in child care and upgrading the stature of child care.
